An exquisite and historic archtop, handmade by Bob Benedetto in 1993, two years before the release of his seminal book on building archtop guitars. A perfect playing guitar with superb feel and sound quality. It is in mint condition and it received a service at the Benedetto factory a year ago. Original Benedetto hard case included. The current retail price for this guitar is $30,000. Serial #: 29793.
From the Benedetto website: "This is Bob’s top of the line Flagship model guitar, the stuff of legend: The Cremona guitar. Featuring spectacular fiddle-back European maple and tight-grained spruce, it is totally acoustic with a huge, balanced voice. It has Bob’s traditional flared headstock, delicate mother-of-pearl ribbon inlay, exotic Amboyna burl faceplate, abalone side-dots, and ebony fitted tailpiece, bridge, fingerboard and finger rest. Available with an S-6 floating pickup at no additional charge. Archtop Artistry and a piece of Italian-American heritage all in one."
