Dobro - often synonymous with wooden resonator guitars has been a registered trademark of the US guitar manufacturer Gibson since 1994.

The name Dobro goes back to five Slovakian immigrants, the Dopyera Brothers, who began to build the guitar in 1927. By the way, Dobro means "good" in Slovakian/Slavic - a surely wanted word play.

With the Hound Dog Deluxe Roundneck, the Sound of Traditional American Music is moving in. Whether blues or bluegrass, country or folk - this guitar is at home with every style.

The classic design Single Cone/Spider Bridge combined with a beautifully flamed maple body makes this resonator guitar attractive. With the Fishman pickup, the live performance becomes a pure pleasure.

The beautiful colouring in vintage brown and the silky matt finish make the nostalgic look complete. This guitar is simply breathtaking!
