This 1978 Fender Mustang Bass comes from my personal collection, and it is genuinely one of the best and most effective Mustangs I have ever owned.

The natural finish paired with the maple fingerboard gives it a fantastic look, but what really makes this bass special is how it plays and sounds. It is one of those instruments that simply works — comfortable, inspiring, and incredibly satisfying to play. Over the years, I have had quite a few Mustang Basses, but this one stands out as my personal favourite.

So why am I selling it? The answer is simple: I am completely in love with my 1964 Fender Precision Bass, and these days I barely pick up anything else. There is no point in keeping such a great instrument in my collection if I am not giving it the playing time it deserves.

This is not an easy bass for me to let go of, but I would rather see it in the hands of someone who will appreciate it and play it regularly.

A fantastic late-'70s Mustang Bass with a great look, feel, and plenty of character. Highly recommended!
