Mesa/Boogie TriAxis V2 tube preamp, serial number T-7626.
Vintage early-generation TriAxis in good cosmetic condition, but sold as-is for repair due to a known electronic issue.
The unit powers on and the buttons, controls and displays all work perfectly. The display and front-panel operation are fully functional.
The unit has the following known audio issues:
- Lead 2 Drive: works normally, but the Lead 2 Drive control bleeds into the other channels, adding some gain and volume where it should not.
- Clean channels: work normally, but are affected by the Lead 2 Drive bleed.
- Lead 1 channels: have low signal and reduced gain.
- Lead 1 Red / Recto: has only a very weak signal, which becomes slightly audible when Lead 2 Drive is turned fully up.
- Lead 2 channels: appear to work normally.
The exact cause has not been diagnosed. The unit is sold as-is, for repair or limited use.
