26" GM Designs Anomaly Cymbal - Beautiful, Deep, Dark Effect!

Introducing the 26" Anomaly by GM Designs—a truly unconventional piece of B20 bronze sound art built for drummers and percussionists who want something far outside the ordinary.

The Anomaly starts with a massive 26" sheet of B20 bronze and features an offset 8" bell, creating multiple distinct playing zones across the cymbal. Strike the bell for a focused, penetrating accent, move across the body for broad, dark washes and complex overtones, or explore the pair of 2" holes for an added trashy, broken character.

What makes the Anomaly even more unusual is its ability to be suspended upside down using the two lower holes. In this position, the offset bell can be struck with a gong mallet, transforming the cymbal into a deep, resonant effect with an entirely different voice and feel.

Part cymbal, part gong, part sound effect—and difficult to classify by design. The Anomaly was created for players looking for textures, accents, and sonic possibilities that simply don’t exist in a conventional cymbal setup.
