White Instruments 4000 1976 - Black

This is the Series 4000 from White Instruments. As you see in the pics it uses massive inductors on the back to do its magic just like a Pultec but at a fraction of the cost. I've been using this for a while and it works on anything including vocals, Although it was made for sound re-enforcement during the 70's, it was made in the era where inductors where available in quantity and where able to do what Pultec did after Pultec made a name for themselves. Like the Altec EQ 1650 EQ I am selling, I think they did not catch on because they don't look as sexy as a Pultec or Lang, which I have. I would keep this but clients really don't know what it is, unless I show them in studio how well they work on tracks. Its fully recapped serviced and ready to go.
