⚡️1960s Harmony H304, USA, 6V6⚡️. A 1960s Harmony amp delivering 5 watts through an 8-inch Jensen speaker—much like a Tweed Champ.
It has been fully restored and optimized for better dynamic range, offering a lovely clean tone and a crunch that can push into Fuzz territory when cranked. It is ideal for home use—enjoying its beautiful tone—or for studio recording.
Push it to the limit and you’ll get that classic Stones-style saturation and sharp garage-rock riffs! Stick an SM57 in front of it, and it sounds more convincing than a 60kg stack!
During restoration, it was re-tolexed and fitted with a new ceramic Jensen speaker;
it was also converted to 230V for convenience, and the circuit was serviced and optimized.
An external speaker output was installed, allowing you to disconnect the internal speaker and run the amp into a larger cabinet—like a 12-inch speaker, for instance. Try that, and you’ll get close to Fender Tweed Deluxe tones.
As you can see, this isn't necessarily a "stock-original" amp, but rather one fine-tuned to be your studio's "secret weapon" 😉.
