Made in Japan, the Fender Traditional 60s Mustang in the classic Olympic White finish. Part of Fender Japan's highly regarded Traditional Series, it combines vintage-inspired styling with excellent craftsmanship and modern reliability.
The guitar is in excellent condition and has been very well cared for. It shows only minimal signs of careful use with no notable dings or damage. It is structurally excellent and fully functional.
The Traditional 60s Mustang features a basswood body, maple neck, and a rosewood fingerboard with 22 vintage-style frets. The short 24" scale length gives the guitar its characteristic slinky feel, while the compact offset body provides outstanding playing comfort whether standing or seated.
The guitar is equipped with a pair of Fender Traditional Vintage-Style Mustang single-coil pickups, delivering the unmistakable Mustang sound with bright, articulate cleans, punchy midrange, and excellent dynamic response. The traditional Mustang switching system allows for both in-phase and out-of-phase pickup combinations, providing a wide range of distinctive tones.
Additional features include the classic Dynamic Vibrato tailpiece, floating bridge, vintage-style tuners, chrome hardware, and the original control layout, preserving the authentic feel and functionality of the original 1960s design.
