Here we have for a sale an extremely rare and collectable Gibson Custom Shop 1959 Les Paul Standard Pearly Gates.
This is the Aged and Signed version of which this is number #50 of only #50 produced in 2009.
This guitar has been stored in a private collection from new and is in un-played condition.
Complete with all original case candy and signed photograph and even original shipping box.
Painstakingly hand aged by Master Artisan Tom Murphy these guitars are said to be the most accurate signature model ever reproduced by Gibson Custom Shop.

Body & Finish
- Top: Hand-selected, highly figured "Pearly Gates" maple top.
- Body: Non-weight-relieved, single-piece lightweight mahogany.
- Finish: Vintage-correct, faded "Pearly Gates" Sunburst.
- Aging: Exacting, Tom Murphy hand aging to mirror the dings and wear of Billy Gibbons' original
Neck & Fretboard - Neck Wood: Single-piece mahogany neck.
- Neck Profile: Exact late '59 rounded profile.
- Fretboard: Dark Indian rosewood.
- Inlays: Aged acrylic/cellulose trapezoid inlays.
- Frets: 22 medium-jumbo frets.
Hardware - Bridge: Lightly aged nickel ABR-1 Tune-o-matic.
- Tailpiece: Lightweight aluminum stop tailpiece.
- Tuners: Gibson Deluxe Kluson-style with keystone buttons.
- Knobs: Gold top-hat knobs
Electronics - Pickups: Matched Hand Wound Custom Shop Seymour Duncan "Pearly Gates" PAF replicas, reverse-engineered directly from Billy Gibbons' original humbuckers.
