Highly sought-after and well-regarded 1980s Yamaha Recording Custom snare drum in the classic black finish. Made in Japan, this model is renowned for its powerful, focused, and articulate sound, making it a studio favorite heard on countless recordings.
The drum is in good overall condition with only minor signs of use and remains structurally sound and fully functional.
Notes:
- One non-original lug mounting screw
- Missing two washers on the snare strainer mechanism (see photos)
- Non-original snare strainer mounting bracket (see photos)
Everything functions as it should, and the drum delivers the classic Recording Custom sound you would expect.
