THIS POSTING WILL END ON THE 5th of JULY!
Rare Fender Stratocaster reissue ST72-65 SC Olympic White modified, made in Japan in 1986 by the Fujigen factory. This model is very close to the Ritchie Blackmore signature with its increasingly scalloped rosewood fretboard and its Seymour Duncan SSL7 bridge pickup. This model is considered the Blackmore signature of the time.
The neck is rather thin, the frets are in excellent condition. The lutherie and electronics are in very good condition too. The guitar has a few small blows that are not very visible and the color of the body is slightly more yellowed in places (it is not homogeneous, see photos), especially on the sides.
The bridge pickup has been changed to a SSL-7 (the same as the SSL-4 with staggered poles) and the middle pickup for a Fender Texas Special. The neck pickup is a Fender ST-current made in Japan. The selector is a 5-position CRL made in USA. The cavity of the pickups and electronics was shielded by a previous owner.
The guitar was cleaned and adjusted with a set of Fender 9-42 strings.
Sold with a Fender gogbag and a vibrato rod. More photos on request.
