This is a 1969 Olds Recording trumpet that was recently acquired from the family of the original owner. Included in the case is the original purchase receipt from Kline Music in Dallas for $400.
This trumpet has a lot of scratches to the lacquer and several shallow dents in the bell tail and bell. It has had some professional dent work on the bell flare and there is some scarring. It has had a hard life, but the valve compression is very good and the horn plays well.
Cosmetically, it isn't good looking, but it is solid. It might be a candidate for stripping the lacquer off and some dent removal, but I'm going to sell it as it is in good playing condition and let the new owner decide about the cosmetics.
Comes with the original Olds case, also showing wear, but fully functional.
