When I saw the pre-release info for these guitars, I immediately ordered lots of them! I thought they looked so good for the price point; flamed maple tops on a mahogany body, 3-piece roasted maple necks, 24 jumbo frets (with ultra access), hardtail bridge... a perfect guitar for the modern player on a budget.
The neck itself is a thin C profile, perfect for those used to modern day, slinky necks. It has a modern 14" radius, and the fingerboard is either roasted maple, or ebony for the Ember Burst finish. Likewise, the pickup covers are either satin chrome, or black for the Ember Burst, offering two different aesthetics.
The pickups in question are a pair of Schecter Richter-6 humbuckers, designed to have lots of bite and dynamic range. We really are spoilt for choice today for amazing value guitars.
