Rickenbacker is a long-established guitar company that still manufactures exclusively in the USA. Here, you'll also encounter German guitar maker Roger Rossmeisl, who was responsible for the design of many Rickenbacker guitars in the 1950s and 1960s and would later develop the Thinline Telecaster at Fender.
The 330 model was released in 1958 and quickly became a fixture in 1960s beat music. Its construction and distinctive sound have remained largely unchanged to this day.
