This instrument is not intended as a collector's item but serves as a functional guitar, offering exceptional sound quality. It is a 1973 Gibson Les Paul Deluxe, featuring the "correct" enhancements.
In the fall of 2019, Øivind Fjeld's guitar workshop in Fredrikstad, Norway refretted the guitar with Dunlop 6105 frets. Furthermore, the mechanics have been upgraded to Kluson Deluxe, and the bridge is equipped with the Tone Pros System II. The electronic components are RS-Guitarworks, configured in a 1950s style. I have recently incorporated original pickups, vintage from 1972, and a Bigsby B5. This model, from 1973, represents the penultimate year of long tenon construction, ensuring sustained resonance.
I've received enquires about potential neck damage; however, the neck remains intact despite stress-induced lines in the paint. This has been confirmed by Øivind Fjeld.
Original Gibson case included.
Let me know if you have any questions. I'm open to offers!
