2016 Dan Armstrong 50th Anniversary Custom White Solid Body Electric Guitar.
Our consignor first met Dan Armstrong in his shop on West 48th Street, New York City, in 1966 when he was modifying Danelectro guitars. He saw the first of the famous Lucite guitars that would hit the market three years later under the Ampeg brand. Dan eventually moved to London, where he started production of the "London" model 341.
Our consignor purchased the last 58 of the "London" bodies and a few necks. Kent Armstrong did all the pickups and wiring.
Custom-built by Rob Mondell. Wiring and pickups by Kent Armstrong. Featuring distressed metal hardware and Gretsch-style fret markers. Only faint scuffs. 7.8lbs. Hard case included. Condition: Excellent.
