Up for sale we have a vintage DeArmond No.600 Volume pedal in fully functional, excellent condition. These were first introduced around 1940 shortly after DeArmond introduced their first guitar pickup in the late 30's. These became popular among guitarists and steel players alike. By rocking the foot downward with pressure on the ball of the foot, the volume is increased. By applying pressure to the heel, the volume is decreased. A plug in jack for the instrument is built into the foot pedal. An eight-foot cord with plug allows for amplifier plug in. The DeArmond foot pedal uses a long bearing control utilizing special alloys in the contacts giving many reversals without failure.
