The final iteration of the EchoPlex, the EP-4
The EP-4 is the fourth-generation model of the Maestro EchoPlex, introduced in the late 1970s.
The pot dates range from ’79 to ’81, and the serial number is in the 37,000s.
Building on the solid-state EP-3, this final iteration of the EchoPlex added Treble/Bass controls for the echo sound and an LED level indicator, further enhancing control.
Compared to the EP-2, this classic tape echo unit is highly regarded not only for its clearer, fuller echo sound but also for its preamp section.

CONDITION
This vintage unit has been cleaned and runs well with no pitch issues.
Some parts, such as capacitors, have been replaced.
The tape cartridge has been replaced with a Fulltone model featuring bearings in the reel section. An L-shaped adapter has been inserted into the input jack for added convenience.
