Based on the popular AZ design, the electric guitar finished in Classic Silver offers an ergonomically designed basswood body and a roasted maple neck in the agile "AZ7 Oval C" profile, whose ebony fingerboard bears a dark "Tree or Death" Inlay. Active Fishman Fluence Tim Henson Signature pickups with distinct, switchable voicings deliver the typical Polyphia sound on the guitar amplifier, which ranges from almost acoustic-sounding cleans to an elegant Distortion. A smoothly responding Gotoh T1572S 2-point Tremolo and Gotoh MG-T Locking tuners complete the equipment of the Tim Henson TOD70 Signature electric guitar from Ibanez. AZ guitar with agile handlingTim Henson chose the Ibanez AZ design, which has become a modern classic, as the basis for the TOD70, offering ideal conditions for highly complex and virtuoso playing techniques. While the ergonomic shape of the basswood body hugs the body with perfect balance, the flowing Super All Access Neck Joint allows easy access to the highest positions of the roasted maple neck. Thanks to the perfect curve of the "AZ7 Oval C" profile, it nestles comfortably in the hand and promises butter-soft playing characteristics between the 24 stainless steel frets of the ebony fingerboard. In addition to the elegant "Tree or Death" inlay, fluorescent Luminlay side dots mark the positions. Fishman Tim Henson Signature pickupsThe electric sound conversion of the Ibanez TOD70 is handled by two Fishman Fluence Modern Tim Henson Signature pickups, whose voicings have been perfectly matched to the sound ideas of the Polyphia mastermind. In addition to the fat and smooth humbucker voicing, the Tim Henson neck pickup offers a hyper-clean tone that can reach acoustic sound realms if required. The bridge pickup, on the other hand, not only impresses with a sound inspired by Tim Henson's favorite pickups, but also with a perfect hot-rodded sound for singing leads. Both Fluence Tim Henson pickups also have a glassy single-coil voicing. The Ibanez TOD70 is also controlled via a 5-way switch, a volume control and a tone pot with push/pull switch for changing the pickup voicings. High-quality hardwareLast but not least, Ibanez completes the Tim Henson TOD70 Signature guitar with professional hardware that blends seamlessly into the clean design thanks to its chrome look. A Gotoh T1572S 2-point tremolo is used as the bridge on the body, which responds smoothly to the tremolo lever and embellishes melodies or chords with shimmering modulations. Thanks to seven individually adjustable string riders, the system also guarantees precise adjustment of intonation and string action even when using alternative tunings. On the headstock, however, Gotoh MG-T Locking tuners keep the Ibanez TOD70 securely in tune even when the tremolo system is frequently accessed.
