Keeley Electronics Unveils the New Hydra Stereo Reverb & Tremolo

Back in January, Keeley Electronics finally put the much-anticipated Eccos Neo-Vintage Tape Delay onto the market after almost four years of development. The masses were delighted and eagerly scooped up the pedal that's so much more than just a delay. And now, there's even more to scoop, with the release of Keeley's new Hydra Stereo Reverb and Tremolo.

Available starting today, the Keeley Electronics Hydra was designed to be the Eccos' "perfect companion." Characteristically feature-rich, Keeley's new pedal features three types of stereo reverb (spring, plate, or room) and tap-tempo-enabled features like harmonic, vibrato, and sine wave tremolo.

Those after the utmost control in their tone-tinkering will be glad to see that you can change the order of effects and/or the character of the tremolo or reverb via the pedals smart alt controls, and also save up to three presets. Reverb trails can be engaged on the fly without having to mess with internal dip switches, and the Hydra is also compatible with an external TRS expression pedal and external tap-tempo inputs.

More features of the new Hydra Stereo Reverb and Tremolo from Keeley's release details include:

  • Stereo high-fidelity Reverb and Tremolo effect pedal
  • Dreamy and accurate sounding Spring, Plate, and Room Reverbs
  • Vintage-voiced Harmonic, Vibrato, and Sine Tremolo
  • 3 Preset locations
  • On board or Remote Tap-Tempo
  • Smart Alt Controls for Shimmer, Spring Age, Room/Hall Size
  • Infinite Hold for Reverb trails
  • Expression pedal can be assigned to any knob
  • Effect Order, Reverb or Tremolo first, switchable on the fly
  • True-Bypass or Trails switchable on the fly
  • 9 Volt DC, 115mA ultra low-current design
  • Designed and manufactured in Edmond, USA
