Eastman has shaken up the guitar world in the last decade with its great craftsmanship, and impeccable value for money, especially regarding archtops.
The prime example is this Eastman AR-372CE, which features a laminated maple top, back and sides, a Florentine cutaway, and is well influenced by the 175 style archtop that many jazzers love.
The usual suspects are the trapeze tailpiece, ebony bridge and base and a 5-ply black pickguard. The ebony fretboard features elegant split block inlays. The Kent Armstrong humbuckers provide the AR372CE with a strong and versatile sound.
This 2019 example shows a few dings and scratches on the top and upper side of the body, but overall remains in excellent condition. Perfectly set up and ready for some serious jazz playing, this guitar delivers tone, feel, and inspiration in equal measure. Comes in a hardshell case with TFOA passport.
