Here is a rare perfect and superb "A"NOS Tungsram el84 6bq5 matched quad made in the 70's.
Not as well known as Mullard or Philips, totally underated and EXCELLENT sounding el84.
Tests results
Tube 1 100 %
tube 2 100 %
tube 3 100%
tube 4 100 %
Like the sought after Tungsram ecc83 it's a first class vintage European preamp tube, made in Hungary.
All Tungsram made same model, same construction with the distinctive inner rectangular metal stamp.
Double "goal post "getter construction. Copper post rods and copper wires. A lot of first quality copper in this tube.
As you can see they have incredible shinny mirror like getter flashes on many spots not only on the top ! Superb !
Those tubes are almost new, NOS top like new condition, super strong and perfectly matched.
This is a perfect alternative to more expensive Philips or Mullard for a bit different tone, for Vox AC30 or Marshall
Kind of "Mullardish"sound with a bit more attack and more detailed and slightly present high frequency with very nice break up. Rich, detailed and warm sound.
EXCELLENT sounding tubes !!!
I COMBINE SHIPPING , SO PLEASE HAVE A LOOK AT MY OTHER INTEMS AND SAVE .
These tubes has been tested with a first tester for

Tests for heater current abnormalities
Amplification factor
Voltage gain
Power gain
Screen grid test
Mutual conductance test
Dual test for double triodes
Emission
Inter electrode leakage
Inter electrode short circuit
Flash-over (arc detection, high voltage breakdown)
Gas ionisation test
and then with a second tester ( Jackson 648S ) for

Life test...
The Jackson 648. It is definitely one of my favorite tube testers. While it does not employ a mutual conductance test circuit, it does use an advanced emission circuit that applies separate element voltages to each tube element, and separate load circuits are also used. “These voltages and loads have been carefully selected for each tube to meet most ideally the normal operating condition of the tube.” (Source: 1950 Jackson catalog.)
In my experience, the Jackson circuitry is very effective, and often will surprise you with accuracy that approaches Hickok’s coveted “mutual conductance” test method. ( Source tubesound web site.)
I do my best to test and describe the tubes the best I can.
Note that test results may vary from one tester to an other so this must be taken as an indication, although my Jackson is regularly tested for calibration.
