Kasuga G65 Classical Guitar Made in Japan Vintage Nylon String

Up for sale is a vintage Kasuga G65 classical guitar made in Japan.

We just cleaned, restrung, and professionally set the guitar up here at the shop. It has a warm, balanced voice with excellent note separation and the comfortable feel that has made these vintage Japanese classical guitars increasingly popular with players looking for quality craftsmanship at an affordable price point.

Kasuga built a number of well-respected instruments during the golden era of Japanese guitar production, and the G65 is a great example of the attention to detail and consistency that helped establish their reputation. The guitar features traditional classical construction, an attractive rosette design, and a nicely aged finish that gives it plenty of vintage character.

Condition is very good overall. There is normal cosmetic wear throughout from years of use including light scratches, finish marks, and handling wear, but nothing that detracts from the guitar's appearance or performance. The frets are in remarkably clean condition with very little wear present, especially considering the age of the instrument.

One unique detail is a previous owner's name label located on the back of the headstock. We elected to leave it in place as part of the guitar's history and provenance rather than remove it.

Overall, this is a clean vintage Japanese classical guitar that plays well, sounds great, and is ready for many more years of music making.
