Up for sale is a vintage Morris 5-string resonator banjo.
We just cleaned, restrung, and professionally set the banjo up here at the shop. It plays great with comfortable low action and delivers the bright, articulate tone that has made resonator banjos a staple of bluegrass and folk music for generations.
This example features attractive pearl-style fingerboard and peghead inlays, a resonator back, geared fifth-string tuner, and an installed fifth-string capo for quick key changes while playing. It also includes a fitted hard case.
Cosmetically, the banjo shows normal signs of age and use throughout including light scratches, finish wear, and general handling marks. The banjo head has visible cosmetic wear and discoloration but remains fully functional and sounds good.
Overall, this is a solid vintage Morris banjo that plays nicely, presents well, and is ready for its next owner.
