ich verkaufe hier ein ganz besonderes Schmuckstück aus der Geschichte von Phil Jones Bass: Eine Piranha 8T Bassbox. Diese Box ist eine echte Rarität für Kenner, was die Seriennummer 8T-00011 eindrucksvoll belegt – es handelt sich hierbei um das 11. weltweit gebaute Exemplar dieser Serie aus der ersten, extrem robusten Produktionsphase (ca. 2007/2008).

Die Box liefert mit ihren 8 x 5" Piranha-Lautsprechern (800 Watt RMS an 16 Ohm) eine unfassbare Dynamik, extrem schnelle Ansprache und den berühmten, glasklaren PJB-Sound. Durch die angewinkelte Bauweise der Front (Angled Baffle) strahlt der Sound perfekt nach oben ab.

Zustand & optische Details (Ehrlich beschrieben):

• Technik: Die Box funktioniert einwandfrei und liefert vollen Druck.
• Optik: Das Gehäuse weist normale, altersübliche Gebrauchsspuren auf. Es gibt ein paar leichte Dings und Dongs im Tolex. Auf der Oberseite befindet sich eine etwa daumennagelgroße Fehlstelle im Tolex (wie auch auf den Bildern gut zu erkennen ist). Durch die angewinkelte Bauform hat sich im Laufe der Zeit auf den unteren Bereichen der Lautsprecher-Membranen und den Ringen etwas Staub abgesetzt. Nichts Wildes, eine Reinigung wäre mal angesagt – ich überlasse dies dem neuen Besitzer, um nichts zu beschädigen.
• Gewicht: Satte 33,45 kg – eine extrem massive, resonanzarme Konstruktion für die Ewigkeit gebaut!

Up for sale is a very special piece of history from Phil Jones Bass: A Piranha 8T speaker cabinet. This particular cabinet is a true collector's item. As verified by the serial number 8T-00011, this is the 11th unit ever manufactured worldwide from the early, ultra-rugged first production run (approx. 2007/2008).Equipped with 8 x 5" Piranha Type A drivers (800 Watts RMS @ 16 Ohms), this cabinet delivers stunning dynamics, lightning-fast attack, and that pristine, transparent PJB signature hi-fi tone. Thanks to the angled internal baffle, the sound projects perfectly towards the player.

Condition & Cosmetic Details (Fully Transparent):

• Technical Condition: Fully functional and working perfectly. It handles power flawlessly.
• Cosmetic Condition: Normal signs of use appropriate for its age. There are a few minor dings and dongs in the tolex. On the top surface, there is a small tear in the tolex about the size of a thumbnail (this is clearly visible in the photos). Due to the angled design of the front baffle, some acoustic dust has accumulated over the years specifically on the lower part of the speaker cones and surrounds. Nothing serious, it just needs a careful cleaning, which I will leave to the buyer to prevent any accidental damage.
• Weight: A heavy-duty 33.45 kg (approx. 73.7 lbs) – a rock-solid, low-resonance cabinet built like a tank to last a lifetime.

• The original, form-fitting PJB protective dust cover.
• A matching, high-quality Speakon speaker cable to 1/4" (inch) Jack cable to connect directly to your amplifier head.
