1976 Fender Tube Reverb Unit – Silverface – vintage - 230V EU version.
Produced only briefly between 1976–1978, this is not a reissue of the 1963–66 units.
Features a unique 4-tube design (3×12AX7, 1×6V6GT) with an output buffer that keeps signal level strong even at very wet mix settings — unlike earlier Fender reverb units.
Sound is rich, deep, and lush, capable of huge reverb depth when maxed. Slightly darker than blackface units, with a subtle preamp-like character that adds something special to the signal.
Not a traditional surf/drip unit, but excellent for: Indie, Alternative, Stoner, Blues Rock, Grunge.
I used it in my smoke free studio on guitars and vocals. One plugged hole on top panel reason unknown. Otherwise original and fully functional.
