Stunning 1957 Gibson ES-225TDN. The guitar is in beautiful, original condition and comes with its original case.

You don’t often come across an ES-225 with two pickups; and when you do, it’s usually in sunburst. In 1957, Gibson produced only 125 examples of the TDN version (Thinline, Double, Natural).

It sounds fantastic. The neck pickup is warm and open, perfect for jazz or a smooth rock solo, while the bridge pickup delivers that unmistakable Chuck Berry–style rock ’n’ roll bite.

A strap button was once fitted to the side of the body; the screw hole has been neatly repaired with a small patch. Aside from that, the guitar is completely original. The original brown Gibson soft case is included.

Alongside this TDN, I also have a TN (with a single pickup) in the same natural finish, also from 1957 and from the same collection. Feel free to compare the two!

If you have any questions or would like to see more photos of the guitar, don’t hesitate to get in touch!
