Alder wood has a balanced and lively sound with rich mids and a robust low end. A Road Worn nitrocellulose lacquer finish gives this Telecaster the authentic look and intimate feel of an old guitarist's favorite. Aged nitrocellulose lacquer allows the wood to vibrate more freely, resulting in improved resonance, sustain, and harmonic complexity.
The Vintera® II Road Worn '60s Telecaster is available in a variety of vintage colors and finished with Road Worn aged nitrocellulose lacquer, recreating the look and feel of a well-played classic.
The limited edition Road Worn models have been enhanced with a new, subtle aging process that combines light cracking, subtle wear patterns, and a semi-gloss finish, while retaining the authentic, played-in feel that guitarists love about vintage Fenders.
The '60s “C”-shaped maple neck with a 7.25" radius rosewood fingerboard and vintage-height frets provide ultimate comfort and excellent feel. Under the hood, you'll find a pair of vintage-style '60s pickups that deliver all the crystal-clear chime and raw, steel twang that made Fender® famous. Other features include a vintage-style 3-saddle bridge with slotted steel saddles and vintage-style tuning machines for improved tuning stability.
