The Jackson Pro Origins 1985 San Dimas brings back that iconic ’80s shred vibe with modern reliability. This San Dimas features an alder body with a bolt-on maple neck and a 12″–16″ compound-radius fingerboard with 22 jumbo frets, delivering blazing-fast playability, wide bends, and tight articulation — perfect for rock, metal, and everything in between.
In terms of electronics, you can choose between SD1A H (single-humbucker) and HH configurations. The series uses the historically inspired Jackson J90-C bridge humbucker and the J50-N neck pickup (on HH models), both based on the original Jackson formula for authentic, high-output tones with clear mids and tight low end.
The top-mounted Floyd Rose 1000 Series double-locking tremolo provides rock-solid tuning stability under heavy vibrato work and dive-bombs, while the hardware and finish are built for confidence on stage, in the studio, and at rehearsal.
