Now this is a beautiful and very rare gem that you will almost never see for sale; This true analog and unique member of the Roland TR family is very cool: it has lots of adjustable trims inside so shape your drum sounds, like inside the CR-78! This also makes this the perfect vintage Roland moddable analog drum machine. Also: individual outs is easy on the TR-700.

This one is of course not mint anymore after 50 years, but honestly; despite a few wood flaws it actualy looks very nice still, certainly comparing to other units I have seen.

On the technical side: it works for the most part. On the main output everything seems normal, besides the volume balance seems not entirely accurate, but I have nothing useful to compare. The internal speaker does'nt seem to pass the bass drum. The speaker has been disconnected before for shipping [because not all countries accept speakers being shipped the quick way], maybe something was not re-attached properly. Therefor is sold as 'kind of working but needs technical service'. So sold AS-IS. No returns or [partly] refunds if anything other then described is not working properly. Maybe I am over-accurate here, just want to tell a honest story where others just hope for the best advertising crap as 'in good condition'. Hope you appreciate it!

Volume is rewireable to 120v, its now set to 100V. I have never seen this unit on European voltage to be honest. For all higher voltages you need a simple step down transformer. Or give it a new replacemnet transformer when you are servicing this beast.

Will be packed VERY well for safe transport, I make an art out of my packings. All my 150+ previous customers can support that claim :D

Grab your chance on this rare piece of Roland history from its glory days!

US buyers: Due to US tarrifs, the here shown shipping costs are now including the extra costs on my side to be able to ship. Any possible import costs on your side you are responsibility of the receiver.

General notice and disclaimer
I am a free time music producer and fanatic gear enthousiast. For over 30 years I expanded my private studio to an enormous playground of fun. I am the first owner of the pieces I put here for sale or I bought them in great condition through the decades on the used market, never saving money on finding the best possible physical and technical state. Of course these are vintage items, so it can happen that there are some touch-ups or imperfections on the sliders/buttons/knobs by the time of sale, only global functions are tested to work before shipping out. This item is sold as is, so no warranty of any kind and no possibility to return this gear. Local pick-up is preferred to avoid any risk on damage or lost during shipping, in that case contact me before buying. Shipping is only offered at your own risk. Will be shipped FAST & VERY WELL PACKED, like delicate vintage gear deserves and I would like to receive a package myself. I will put maximum effort in getting the synth safe at your doorstep and can on request update you with pictures of the package and the damping protection used for you to approve. Any import or tax duty is for the buyer and depends on the country you live in.
