Up for sale is a gorgeous 1998 Gibson ES-135 in Vintage Sunburst, featuring P-90 pickups (instead of the factory P-100s). This semi-hollow beauty blends vintage tone with modern reliability, offering rich warmth and a smooth midrange punch that’s perfect for jazz, blues, and rock alike. The semi-hollow construction with the center block keeps feedback in check while maintaining that open, airy tone that only an ES can deliver.
This particular ES-135 has been well cared for and shows only standard playwear typical for its age. The finish has aged beautifully with no major dings, cracks, or repairs. The frets are in excellent shape with plenty of life left.
This is a Made-in-USA Gibson (a Nashville Tennessee production model) that’s becoming increasingly sought after, as the ES-135 line is no longer in production. A great alternative to the ES-335 at a more accessible price point, with its own unique vibe and tonal character.
Includes the original Gibson USA brown hardshell case.
