The Beyerdynamic M 411 N(C) is one of the lesser-known but highly capable dynamic microphones from the company’s golden era. Its short body, cardioid pattern, and bright tonality make it a secret weapon for percussion and transient-rich sources.

OPTICAL CONDITION
Very good. Minor bumps on the mesh and some light wear consistent with age.

TECHNICAL CONDITION
Refurbished. Foam behind the grille has been replaced with open-cell PPI 60 foam. Diaphragm and interior housing carefully cleaned. Fully functional.

BUILD & DESIGN
The M 411 N(C) is a rugged, German-built dynamic microphone housed in a matte black metal body with a no-nonsense cylindrical form. grill and mesh are also made from an everlasting alloy

The original factory configuration includes an integrated XLR output—rare for its time. a robust front mesh grill, slightly domed and dense, provides protection while allowing good acoustic transparency. the first look at this microphone makes you think its designer didn’t care much for looks—listening to it reveals they cared very much about how it sounds.
