Behold, the chonk! This 5-string is an absolute tone monster. Many argue it was Leo Fender's greatest creation. The sheer number of usable and creative tones available from the MFD humbucker pickups, paired with the unique Tritone circuit has made the L2000 (4-string) and L2500 a favorite among bass players around the world.
This beautiful machine is in very good to excellent condition. There is a little bit of buckle rash on the back and some color fading on the neck, nothing major. I would rate it around 8.75-9/10.
It has fresh strings (the A-string is from a pack of Roto 66's, the rest are brand new D'Addarios), has been set up and cleaned! It plays like a dream.
Why sell? I'm currently at 11 basses and I'm running out of room(s)! And I almost exclusively play 4-strings these days.
It will ship safely in the provided G&G case with inside a suitable Thomann shipping box. It's fully functional, apart from one clasp that won't lock. Shipping happens through either UPS/FedEx Int'l...these don't pop up very often in left-hand (and this condition) so don't wait too long.
