The unknown flying object, the Flying Saucer prototype, has arrived!
The second model is inspired by Mars floating in outer space!
Flying Saucer is a futuristic guitar brand that combines retro and modern with a space age concept.
Three prototypes with SG bodies and Flying V heads have landed.
This second model expresses the red of Mars in metallic Mars Orange.
The key point is the body thickness. By making the body a few mm thicker than the normal SG, it outputs a wide range of sound. This is a specification that we would like to recommend to those who feel that the sound of the conventional SG body needs to be thicker.
In addition, the neck made with the profile of the 1967 Flying V is set with a box joint. The nut width of 40.5 mm is slim but thick, and we believe that the neck also contributes to the sound.
The pickups are Vintage Maniacs.
It is said to be close to the original PAF, and its sound is characterized by its honest expression of the guitar body, but above all, it uses reverse zebra (white on the pole piece side), which is extremely rare in vintage.
The ABR-1 type bridge uses brass links and the pegs also use brass posts to improve the sound.
This is a prototype, so if you miss this opportunity, you may not be able to get the same model.
This FYSG seems familiar, but never seen before. It will lead you to another world, a folded dimension.
