The DSL40C delivers 40 watts of tube-powered output with a Pentode/Triode switch, allowing users to reduce the power to 20 watts for lower volume settings or smaller venues 

This makes it ideal for both practice and performance environments. The amp is equipped with two footswitchable channels – Classic Gain and Ultra Gain – each offering two selectable modes to cover a wide tonal range

Classic Gain Channel: Switches between Clean and Crunch modes, providing tones from shimmering cleans (similar to a 1959 Plexi) to dynamic crunch reminiscent of a JCM800 2203 

Ultra Gain Channel: Features Lead 1 (open high-gain crunch) and Lead 2 (mid-boosted high gain), suitable for modern rock and metal 

EQ and Tone Shaping: Shared 3-band EQ (Bass, Middle, Treble), plus Tone Shift, Presence, and Resonance controls for fine-tuning low-end thud, mids, and brightness 

Reverb: Digital studio-quality spring reverb independently adjustable for each channel and switchable via footswitch 

Speaker and Outputs

The amp features a 12-inch Celestion speaker (variously a V-Type or Seventy 80 depending on version) that provides clear, full-bodied sound with balanced midrange and smooth overdrive response 

The DSL40C also has five speaker outputs, supporting multiple cabinet connections with 4, 8, or 16-ohm impedance options
