Back in 2010, BLACKSTAR set the stage for low wattage amps with their HT-1 amplifier, which was particularly suitable for use at home and in the studio. With the HT-1RH MkIII, BLACKSTAR goes one step further and introduces new features such as USB-C recording and BLACKSTAR's speaker simulation Cabrig, which allows guitarists to choose between 100 different cabinet, microphone, microphone placement and room settings. These settings can be saved and stored in 3 presets that can be recalled directly from the amplifier. The patented ISF control allows for both American and British sounds and a variety in between. Thanks to its low wattage, the amplifier sounds convincing even at low volumes. Together with the two footswitchable channels and the voice switch, the amplifier has two clean and two overdrive sounds. A USB-C connection enables connection to a computer and thus the possibility of recording.
