At its most basic level, the Pigtronix Echolution 3 is an incredibly flexible delay processor that offers you between 100 milliseconds and five seconds of delay time with up to two taps. You can further subdivide the taps into one of five time divisions, including 1, 3/4, 2/3, 1/2, and the golden ratio Phi. By combining multiple taps and delay times, it’s easy to create highly complex polyrhythms that warp and evolve as you play. You can also fully disable the Echolution 3’s delay line, tapping into its filter and modulation, without actually delaying the incoming signal.
