Rare Multivox MX-51 Analog Synthesizer. 3 settings: "Honky-Tonk", Grand Piano, and Clavichord. Whoever had it before me put some note name stickers on some of the keys. Can be easily removed if desired. The keys are yellowed from age, electronics are all functional, although I can barely hear a difference between the 3 sound settings; I don't think this is a defect, its just how they are. Settings controlled by switch. 4 knobs adjust Tuning, Sustain, Volume, and Vibrato.
The Bb4 key is a little sunken in and responds intermittently only. After looking inside, I believe this would be a fairly straightforward fix for someone who is so inclined. The connections for the key are fine, it just needs to be adjusted so that it consistently makes contact with the target. Occasionally, this intermittance will pop up on other keys, but I think it is again a simple matter of cleaning the connections.
I have looked everywhere online and cannot find another one currently listed or the price paid for ones that sold. If my price is way off, please let me know, I tried to put it to what similar Multivox keyboards went for (mostly the MX-20).
***I know the shipping is expensive, but it is a large, fairly heavy item. I would be more than happy to arrange for some type of local pick up, etc.***Here is the wikipedia entry for Multivox for more info:
