G&L Tribute Fallout Short Scale Bass – Jet Black

The G&L Tribute Fallout Short Scale Bass delivers compact ergonomic playing built around a 30" scale length that reduces hand fatigue while maintaining professional-grade tone and tuning stability. Its slim C neck profile and 9.5" radius fingerboard combine for smooth playability across extended sessions, making it a serious choice for players prioritizing both comfort and sonic versatility. The jet black finish with roasted jatoba fingerboard presents a refined, purposeful aesthetic backed by the proven electronics and construction G&L is known for.

Tone & Electronics

The G&L Magnetic Field Humbucker pickup captures detailed output with minimal noise, while the 3-way toggle switch selects parallel, split, or series configurations—delivering everything from tight, articulate attack to deep, powerful lows. The Saddle-Lock bridge with chrome-plated brass saddles increases sustain and couples string vibration directly into the body for enhanced resonance, ensuring consistent response across the fingerboard.

Build & Playability

A hard rock maple neck paired with a poplar body creates a balanced foundation offering both stability and responsive tone, while the 1.625" nut width accommodates standard short scale string spacing. 19 frets provide ample range for most bass lines, and G&L Ultra-lite tuners with aluminum posts maintain tuning stability through extended sets. The instrument ships factory-fitted with D'Addario nickel roundwound short scale strings (.045–.100) for immediate, balanced playability.
