Gibson SG Special 1974 (modded)
Purchased back in the day with the original mini humbuckers still in it, of which the bridge pickup was dead. And as you can clearly see, the previous owner wanted a Bigsby on it and did it in a rather unusual way.
I was unable to afford a full restoration, so the following work was done:
The pickup holes are routed out to fit full-size humbuckers.
The Bigsby recess is filled with a new piece of mahogany, which is finished in the original cherry color and then sprayed over with nitrocellulose lacquer, including the body. Because the original cherry color has faded over the years, this (of course) remains visible.
All things done by a professional luthier including full setup.
I am a massive AC/DC fan, so the guitar is fitted with a AYC pickups from Jaydee Custom Guitars.
Strings: Ernie Ball 2223 (.009)
Tuning: Standard
Comes with guitar case.
I installed the only working neck pickups in my old Telecaster, and all other parts have already been sold and are therefore no longer included. (see the last picture)
