The DS-2. A classic distortion pedal from Boss, featuring a Turbo mode that can be switched on manually via the pedal itself, and using the included, homemade additional switch.

This pedal is in very good condition, as shown in the photos, and works perfectly, of course. It is an early production model with serial number ZA81825. According to a Boss serial number checker online, this pedal was manufactured in November 1989. I bought it new from Dirk Witte in Amsterdam in January 1991, so that seems about right. It even still comes with its original box.

It was used by John Frusciante and Kurt Cobain during that period.
