The brain is an Alesis Strike Pro sound module that comes with dozens of kit presets. For finer control over the pads and cymbals, there are Edrumin 4 and 8 MIDI modules, #4 for the snare and hi-hat, and #8 for the toms and cymbals. They transmit the trigger inputs to an app on the computer, allowing you to tweak settings to match your playing style perfectly. This system is designed to interface with Virtual Drums and Percussion Library kits. Using a hot-rodded laptop, you can play live with no noticeable latency.
