For sale is my 2012 Gibson Les Paul standard Bonamassa Goldtop, one of only 400 made worldwide.

This model was Gibson’s tribute to Joe Bonamassa’s highly regarded early-’50s Goldtop and delivers that classic combination of fat PAF-style humbucker tone, substantial neck feel, and understated vintage looks. It’s one of the more collectible modern signature Les Pauls because Gibson kept production genuinely limited and stayed close to a traditional spec.

This example presents extremely well and has clearly been cared for.

Condition

Overall condition is excellent used condition.

From inspection:

Frets show very light wear only and still have plenty of life

Fingerboard is clean and well maintained

Hardware shows light natural aging/patina consistent with careful use

Front presents beautifully with strong gloss

Back has typical light surface marks from normal handling

One noticeable cosmetic mark/chip on the rear body edge (shown in photos)

No structural issues observed

Setup is comfortable with low action and plays cleanly

Tone / Feel

If you’re after a Les Paul that sits closer to the old-school, substantial-feeling side rather than ultra-modern or overly bright, this one delivers. Thick bridge tones, articulate neck sounds, and the effortless sustain you expect from a good Goldtop.
