About this listing
Up for sale is a 1991 Alvarez Yairi DY-52 Cantin Creek Slope Shoulder Dreadnaught. Solid Spruce with laminate curly rosewood back and sides. Plays absolutely fantastic with low action. Set up and ready to go. The DY-52 is famous for its slope-shouldered design, solid spruce top, and stunning rosewood back and sides. Because it features Yairi’s signature direct-coupled bridge and hand-voiced bracing, it delivers an incredibly warm, deep bass response with crystal-clear projection that easily rivals high-end Martins or Gibsons from the same era. Mahgony neck and rosewood back and sides. Deep and very resonant. Honestly and Truthfully plays fantastic with excellent tone. A must have for a MIJ collector or player. Wide lower bout for extreme bass response. Minor finish scratching on back with the same on back. Overall very nice shape. 1 11/16” Nut 25.4“ Scale Length Action is set to 2.25mm bass and 1.5mm treble.
