This is a Stratocaster in heavy relic 3-Tone Sunburst husk made by Firefly. The stock electronics, switch and pickups have all been professionally replaced with upgraded components. This has a full professional setup and is ready to play. Upgrades include a $160-tier “The McCready” hand-wired loaded pickguards, built in the USA with premium parts. Features include a Kaish heavy-duty 5-way switch, Gavitt cloth push-back wiring throughout, and a matched hand wound pickup set from Cranston Guitars designed for strong balance across all positions. This set was developed after closely analyzing the Fender MIM McCready pickups and improving on them using Alnico 2 and 4 magnets for a smoother, fuller tone that never gets harsh or shrill. It also includes a discreet McCready treble-bleed circuit so the sound stays clear and articulate at lower volumes.
The guitar plays great with low action, a comfortable slim C neck profile and the frets are leveled and edges filed smooth.
