Selling my Wampler Black ’65 Overdrive, a highly regarded “amp-in-a-box” pedal designed to recreate the feel, response and tonal character of classic mid-60s American Blackface amplifiers.

More than a simple overdrive, the Black ’65 can genuinely transform the character of an amp by adding the warmth, clarity, compression and dynamic response associated with vintage Blackface-style circuits. It works beautifully through clean platforms and can bring convincing Fender-style character even to non-Blackface amplifiers.

Extremely dynamic and touch sensitive, it delivers everything from edge-of-breakup cleans to rich vintage-style overdrive while maintaining excellent clarity and note definition.

This model is no longer in production, making it increasingly difficult to find, especially in Europe.

Je vends ma Wampler Black ’65 Overdrive, une pédale “amp-in-a-box” très réputée conçue pour recréer le caractère, la dynamique et le grain des amplis américains Blackface des années 60.

Bien plus qu’une simple overdrive, la Black ’65 peut réellement transformer le caractère d’un ampli en lui apportant la chaleur, la clarté, la compression naturelle et la réponse dynamique typiques des circuits Blackface vintage. Elle fonctionne parfaitement sur un ampli clean et permet même d’apporter une véritable couleur Fender Blackface à des amplis qui ne possèdent pas cette personnalité à l’origine.

Très dynamique et sensible au toucher, elle couvre aussi bien des sons edge-of-breakup très organiques que des saturations vintage plus riches, tout en conservant une excellente définition.

Ce modèle n’est plus en production, ce qui le rend de plus en plus difficile à trouver, particulièrement en Europe.
