This is a breathtaking example of the artisan work coming out of the Oriollo workshop, featuring a 6.5 x 14 seamless spun brass shell. Unlike traditional rolled-and-welded drums, Oriollo’s spinning process results in a shell with perfectly consistent density and structural integrity. This specific drum features a Flame Finished exterior, a specialized heat-cured process that produces a unique, deep patina with a range of organic colors. This finish not only looks incredible but is part of the metal itself, ensuring it will age beautifully alongside the drum.
The drum is outfitted with high-quality tube lugs for a classic look and minimal shell dampening, along with heavy-duty die-cast hoops that focus the brass shell's natural warmth into a powerful, articulate crack. We have professionally upgraded this snare with a brand new Aquarian coated batter head and an Attack snare-side head, paired with a set of premium Puresound snare wires for maximum sensitivity and buzz-free performance.
In very good condition, this snare has been meticulously maintained and professionally inspected. It features a beautiful, natural patina from the flame-cured process that gives the drum a unique, storied character. All hardware functions perfectly.
