The 2009 Gibson Custom Shop Les Paul 1958 Reissue in Pelham Blue is a breathtaking blend of vintage soul and rarefied style — a guitar that commands attention before you’ve even played a note. Crafted to the exacting standards of Gibson’s Custom Shop, it captures every ounce of 1958 Les Paul magic: the rounded neck carve, gently figured top, nitrocellulose finish, and the voice of old-school PAF-style humbuckers. What truly sets it apart is its Pelham Blue finish a color so rarely seen on a ’58 reissue!
While the original late-’50s sunbursts spoke of tradition, this Pelham Blue Les Paul is something else!. Inspired by vintage Cadillac paint charts, the finish has aged and give that nice "green" vibe.
Tonally it is warm, articulate, and rich in harmonic depth. The hand-selected tonewoods and Gibson’s historic build process give it bloom and sustain that make you play it non stop.
The guitar has some really nice weather checking, and in overal good shape.
A nice 1958 round neck, that gives some extra tone to the sound!
