Beautiful old Byrdland! Looks fantastic with Florentine cutaway and sunburst finish. All original with 1 PAF (neck) and 1 patent sticker pickup. Plays excellently with great set up and nice low action on medium/slim C neck profile. Nice ebony board with original low flat frets and very little fretwear. The pickups sound incredible! Warm, robust, and musical with excellent note clarity and great dynamic response. The grail of Gibson electronics and most sought after tones. The guitar is very clean for its age! The finish is checking nicely and looks fabulous. There are two areas with a little more distress on the top; the bass side shoulder and the area beneath the pickup. No missing finish but a little more wear in these spots. The pickguard is curling and there is a rectangular disfigured section maybe from an old sticker or something. The back is very clean as well with beautiful piece of figured maple. There is a small section of would be belt rash but almost unnoticeable. The flame maple neck has some wear spots from being played but looks awesome too and one small chip in the back of the headstock. Overall a well kept, clean, and original example of one of Gibsons more obscure models. Awesome player with legendary tone and classic look; equally collectible and playable.
Comes with the original hard shell case.
