The Runt 20 offers 2 channels - the Clean channel does not have its own sound control, but can be adjusted with a three-stage Bright switch. The Overdrive channel provides the familiar Friedman sound, bold overdrive and lead sounds with breathtaking dynamics. The Runt 20 is the first Friedman amp with speaker simulation: the amp can be operated via an internal dummy load without a connected speaker and can be connected directly to a console via the balanced line out with integrated speaker simulation. The runt is also excellent with pedals - distortion and boosters provide the "shuffle more". Modulation and delay / reverb pedals can easily be integrated into the well-known serial effect path of the legendary Browneye.
